Do you like a good murder mystery? I sure do! I've seen A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson on bookstore shelves and bestseller lists for a while now, and I’m so glad I finally got to read it 😉

Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell went missing and her boyfriend, Sal Singh, was said to have murdered her before committing suicide. The case was then closed. But Pippa Fitz-Amobi believes Sal’s innocent, spurring her to investigate the case as her school project five years later. The 17-year-old begins to uncover secrets involving those around her. But someone would rather things stay buried, and Pippa's life is put in danger as she gets closer to the shocking truth about Andie's disappearance.

I love mysteries with convincing plots and satisfying endings, and this was definitely one of those. Jackson spins a tension-filled mystery which has the reader invested in Pippa’s daring and meticulous investigation to uncover the who and why. I’d recommend this young adult book to teenagers and those older. BTW word is the TV series based on the book is coming to Netflix later this year, hopefully in Singapore too! 🤞

The gorgeous book you see here is, ahem, the Collector’s Edition, a recently-released hardcover edition with an introductory letter from the author, sprayed edges and a ribbon bookmark. Thank you, Definitely Books (Pansing) for sending this over – this beautiful hardback sure elevated my enjoyment of the story! A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (Collector’s Edition) is now available at all good bookstores 🤗
