Murdle is a fun and addictive murder mystery puzzle book where you get to solve crimes through logic and deduction.
Do you like a good murder mystery? Or even the boardgame, Clue? Then you have to try out Murdle, a murder mystery logic puzzle book we got from Experal Singapore! My girls and I had so much fun with this!
There are 100 puzzles with 4 levels of difficulty in this book. Each puzzle has an intro to the crime, a list of suspects, and possible weapons and crime scenes - your job as the detective is to find out who, what and where through the given clues and evidence. In some ways, it follows the logic of the boardgame Clue, but in Murdle, you'll also need to do some deduction.
The puzzles are something tweens and those older can tackle, though at the beginning Little E, who is 11 years old, didn't fully understand the instructions, but after I explained it to her, she caught on really quick.
That said, there is no guarantee that you'll be better at solving the puzzles if you're an adult. In fact, I think my girls have sharper minds than I do 😅 There were a few times they analysed the clues to me like, "This weapon can't be in this room because the person is somewhere else..." And I'm like, "Oh, is it?" 😂 I could do the Elementary puzzles on my own but I needed hints from the book when I was attempting the next level, so it's a good thing my girls are better detectives than me 😆
We'll be having fun with Murdle this school holiday. In fact, Little E said this morning, "We have to play Murdle again tonight!" 😆 Thank you Experal Singapore for sending this over - this is so fun and really addictive!
You can find this awesome book, and lots more interesting fiction and non-fiction reads at Experal's shopee stores at Experal Singapore and Experal SG, and their website at Experal.com 🤗
Happy March school hols everyone!
