A superbly busy third quarter of 2023 with seven author talks and workshops at primary and secondary schools in Singapore - my heart is full.
It has been a superbly busy third quarter of the year with seven author talks and workshops while working on my new book series.
Thank you Hong Wen School, Bukit Panjang Primary School, River Valley Primary School, Mayflower Primary School and East Spring Primary School for having me! It's always a delight meeting and interacting with students, teachers and school leaders during my assembly talks and book signings.
I was also at Crest Secondary School to meet the Secondary Two students and teachers who have been using My BFF Is an Alien as a teaching material for English lessons. I thoroughly enjoyed the panel discussion I had with the students who made many good observations about my book and asked very insightful questions.
Thank you to the schools who had contacted me directly, Readers' House and Eduworks who arranged my primary school visits and Singapore Book Council for organising my writing workshops.
If there are any educators here who would like me to visit your school, please feel free to get in touch with me!
I'm looking forward to the author talks planned for the fourth quarter of this year. But in the meantime, I'm going to take a break with my girls during the September school holidays then start year-end exam revision with them, while getting the first book of my new book series ready for launch next year. Busy, busy, busy! Happy September holidays to those having holidays! 😊
